We have not written anything about the prices in the different places, it is the dining experience that counts. It can be a good idea to book a table at many of the restaurants, especially in the summer. Most restaurants are open all year round.

Restaurant De 2 Have at Grenen
At Restaurant De 2 Have Skagen at the address Fyrvej 42 (with the fantastic view of Grenen and the 2 gardens) you get delicious food served with a smile. Restaurant De 2 Have is a Restaurant that offers food inspired by Danish cuisine. The food is prepared with a sense of quality and fresh ingredients from local farms incl. organic vegetables in your own garden south of Skagen.
When you drive from Grenen and past Bamses Museum you come to Iscafeén on Odevej 2A. Here you can enjoy a good ice cream and sit outside and enjoy the good weather. Closed in winter.
Brøndums Hotel- Restaurant
In the middle of Skagen on Anchersvej 3, is the historic Brøndums Hotel which from the beginning was a farm, but which was renovated and turned into a hotel with a restaurant. Brøndums Hotel formed the framework for much of what Skagen is known for today, namely the meeting place for The Skagen Painters, which well-known painters such as Michael Ancher and PS Krøyer participated. HC Andersen also sat there and wrote many of his stories. Brøndum’s restaurant specializes in fresh local fish such as salmon, herring and plaice. The restaurant also specializes in wines from the “old world” in France, Italy, Spain and Germany. If you are only thirsty for coffee, it is also fine to sit inside the old saloon and enjoy a good cup of coffee and a piece of low cake.
At Bodilles Kro at the address Østre Strandvej 11, you get delicious food. Bodilles Kro is a cozy restaurant that offers food inspired by Danish cuisine. Their pan-fried plaice and Danish ground beef are a hit. There is a free choice between all dishes on the menu and you can have Dinner, Lunch.
Kokkenes Café & Restaurant
Are you extra hungry and want something good to eat? Then Kokkenes is right for you! The award-winning restaurant member of New Nordic Cuisine, is known for its large and generous portions. The cafe is located right in the center on the pedestrian street Sct. Laurentiivej 54. Their fish soup is outstanding and in addition to steak, traditional Danish food and seafood, vegetarian dishes are also served.
At Dit Smørrebrød at the address Havnevej 16 Skagen, you get delicious Danish smørrebrød made directly to your order. Your Smørrebrød also offers takeaway for pickup.
Jacobs Cafe og Bar
Whether it’s brunch, casual lunch or elegant dinner – In Jakobs Café and Bar, everyone finds something to satisfy their hunger. The address is Havnevej 4 A. When the sun has set, you can often find live concerts at the bar and the whole family can swing their hips! In addition, you can enjoy a coffee and or some delicious cocktails at any time of the day.

After a good dinner or a hot summer day and you want to taste an extra good ice cream, then this is the place we recommend. Absolutely outstanding. Their waffles are homemade. Closed in winter.
Mammas Pizza restaurant.
On the pedestrian street Sct. Laurentievej 79 is Mamma’s Pizza restaurant. Excellent pizza that you can eat on site or for Takeaway. Can also be delivered to Toftegården.
If you are looking for a traditional, Danish fish restaurant and if you are crazy about fish, Skagen Fiskerestaurant is the perfect place. The address is Fiskehuskajen 13. In addition to a large selection of seafood, the restaurant impresses with its location on the harbor and its atmosphere.
The Pakhus restaurant at the address Rødspættevej 6 Skagen is a cozy fish restaurant. The cozy restaurant has over 42 hand-carved wooden figures and is divided into a fine restaurant and a café with an open terrace. Here you can eat all kinds of fish dishes. In summer there is live music every night.
If you are extra hungry, then Jørn’s dining house is the place to go. An old workers’ café which has now been renovated and where you can get everything from fresh fish to delicious meat dishes. Note that these are large portions you get, so make sure you go there when you are really hungry.
Restaurant Hyttefadet at the address Jens Bergs Vej 2 A is known for being visited by all rich Copenhageners in week 29. The restaurant offers food inspired by Danish, Scandinavian cuisine.
Ruths Hotel Gourmet
Ruth’s Gourmet is part of the elegant Ruths Hotel which is located at the address Hans Ruths Vej 1 in Old Skagen. The restaurant is considered one of the best restaurants in Skagen and has well-known master chefs who cook the food. The restaurant offers new Nordic dishes and is considered a pioneer in its field. It is also known for a good ice cream made from oak bark. In summer you can sit outside on a nice enclosed terrace.
